'In my piece, I create interaction with people within the area. I spoke to people in the area and took a photo of them on my Polaroid camera. Given that it takes more than five minutes for the Polaroid photo to develop fully, the subject does not get to see the photo taken of them. Therefore I invite the participant to come retrieve it during the exhibition. I also ask them to leave something behind in return. This creates an exchange with the person and makes the piece evolve as the exhibition takes place. Behind each photo is reprinted version of hte photo in a lowered opacity with a short description of the interaction between the person and myself. As a result, when the photo is retrieved and an object is in its place, there is still visully a remnant of the person as well as the object they leave behind.'
