Corpus Christi College played a significant role in the translation of the bible into the King James Version. John Rainoids the college President proposed the idea to King James and was personally involved in the translation of Old Testament prophets.
Corpus Christi is located opposite Oriel college and beside the back of Christ Church college on Merton Street. Such a picturesque street but a real bugger to cycle on due to the cobbled stones underneath.
