WOLFSON

Oxford

Wolfson College was founded in 1965. Its founding president
was Sir Isaiah Berlin. It is a graduate college nestled in North of Oxford which overlooks the river Cherwell. The lush verdant meadows beyond stretch out towards the village of Marston.

The Berlin quad was designed in 1974 by the architects Powell and Moya. They received the RIBA Gold Medal for architecture in the same year; they were first ever recipients of the award.

Wolfson College runs alongside the river Cherwell which is a tributary of the River Thames.
