FOUNDED 1937
Nuffield College was founded in 1937 thanks to an endownment from the great William Morris, he of the famous Oxford Morris Motors. It was the first college in Oxford to accept women as well as men. It is a graducate college which specialises in social sciences, particularly economics, politics and sociology.
