CALAIS
REFUGEES
The Calais 'Jungle' once housed several hundred refugees; Afghans, Eritreans, Ethiopians, Sudanese and Somalis all fleeing war torn countries or collapsing economies. The makeshift housing was pulled down in 2016.
The refugees are still coming to Calais today. And they are there now, standing out in the cold. No shelter.
