FACE
TO FACE
So I was telling my brother that someone had said that I had an 'unretentative short term memory'.
'Dotty well done that's quite a long sentence to remember', he said.
Years later I can testify to the truth of this statement. Names, places and times elude me. Sentences change mid flow and wrong names are attributed liberally to whomever I meet. Strangely I never forget a face; eyes, turn of a cheek or the animation with which a story is told.
Face to Face is an ongoing body of work based on visitors to the Oxford market. If you've ever spoken to me you'll end up immortal, forever stuck in a compositon of market life. Do stop and have look at the work, do forgive me if I call you Harold when your name is actually Julie.
